Day 1

I am now a homeless nomad. Sort of. All of my possessions are in storage (although now I kind of question why I didn't just throw it all out, since everything I could possibly ever need is in my backpack).

After saying too many goodbyes to people who I miss already, I hopped on a night bus to NYC. The woman next to me changed seats at the border (I smelled of moving, maybe thats it). At Albany, she sat next to me again, weird... The border guard lady questioned me over my syringes... I told her they were for my heroine addiction, and asked her what her political views were in relation to clean needle centers (I invented that last sentence).

At 7am today, I ate hummus and pita under a red parasol in times square (courtesy of the Reshefs). I then wandered aimlessly.

I had lunch with Randy and David, who then brought me to see HAIR. They knew one of the actresses, and afterwards we got to go backstage and meet the actors. So cool to be on a broadway stage. Great show too.

Tonight I get to live with the cousins, woot. We ate pizza and cake.
